Life can suck

Some days feel impossible.

Your anxiety feels overwhelming, and you can’t function the way you used to. Maybe you're buried under the weight of depression, struggling to see a way forward. Perhaps your teen is in distress, or chronic pain is wearing you down. Or there are times when trauma from years ago might still feel as raw as if it happened yesterday.

You're in the right place. I've got you. You are the expert in your own life, things have just got a bit cloudy.

Together, we will bring back your hope. Find the wisdom and courage inside of you to create the changes you want to heal and grow.

The Science of Healing

Trauma changes the brain — but the brain can change.
Through neuroscience-based tools like Havening, we’ll gently shift old patterns, regulate emotion, and rewire your nervous system.

The Wisdom of the Body

Your body holds your story.
With somatic therapy and drawing-based processes, we’ll help you feel safe, grounded, and present and able to process emotion without words.

The Strength of You

You are so much more than what’s happened to you and how you are feeling right now. You have deep wisdom within you to heal and find happiness. We’ll reconnect to meaning, courage, and the quiet part of you that still believes in healing.

"You will pass through storms and heavy rains and at times you will suffer defeat.

The essence of the creative life, however, is not to give up in the face of defeat but to follow the rainbow that exists within your heart"

– Daisaku Ikeda

What you might be feeling

You don’t need a diagnosis to know something isn’t right.

Maybe you’ve tried to explain it before — but the words never quite landed.
Here’s what it might feel like:

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like the boss of your brain—controlling your thoughts, emotions, and actions from the moment you wake up to the moment you fall asleep. Living in survival mode with that constant sense of worry, dread, and being overwhelmed can leave you or your child feeling stuck, exhausted, and disconnected from life. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

With the right support, you can rewire your brain, calm your nervous system, and regain control. I specialise in helping adults, teenagers, and children who feel trapped by anxiety, guiding them toward a sense of ease, confidence, and calm.

Through my work, I have supported many children and teenagers refusing to go to school, and adults so overwhelmed they felt unable to function. I’ve also taught and run anxiety programs designed specifically for teenagers, empowering them with the tools to navigate life with greater resilience and self-assurance.

Together lets put in the work, and become the boss of your brain rediscover clarity, and finally experience the peace and freedom you deserve.

Calm'er

I am an experienced group presenter who created and teaches Calm’er, a 6 week anxiety programme designed specifically for teenagers. I designed Calm’er for students whose anxiety was impacting their daily life

Comments from the participants:

"I learnt I'm not the only one struggling with anxiety. I thought I was the only one."
"I am way braver and I challenge my anxiety now"
"I learnt heaps of strategies that work for my anxiety."
"I don’t feel so sad and alone any more."

All of the students who have participated in Calm’er said they would recommend Calm’er to their friends

If you are interested in me running Calm’er at your school please contact me for more information.

Depression

Depression can really suck. It might hit you out of nowhere or feel like it’s never going away. Sometimes it’s a heavy weight making everything hard, other times it’s a fog that leaves you feeling disconnected from life. It’s that unwelcome guest messing everything up, making even small tasks feel impossible. Some days, you just want to pull the blankets over your head and never get out of bed.

But here’s the truth—you are not broken, and you are not alone. With the right support, healing is possible. I help adults, teenagers, and children break free from depression using a holistic, neuroscience-based approach that reconnects mind, body, and brain.

You deserve to feel lighter, more connected, and in control again. Let’s take the first step together.

Trauma

Your fine then the next moment you are down the rabbit hole reliving a horrible event that happened years ago, leaving you stressed, angry and wobbly. That's the issue with trauma, it becomes encoded in the brain and body so you can keep reliving it for years as if it were yesterday. It hits you out of nowhere

Trauma can affect anyone. It doesn’t always come in one big event. Sometimes it builds slowly over time. Whether it’s a one-time event like a car accident or ongoing stress like bullying, family harm, or living with a chronic illness. It could be something that happened in your childhood that you have buried away deep inside like sexual abuse or violence. Or maybe you have experienced intergenerational trauma. Its real, it hurts and impacts you in so many different ways.

I use techniques that gently help the brain and body process traumatic memories. As we process those memories, I promise you there will be lots of laughter and probably a few tears but you will find things that triggered you no longer do. You can heal your trauma. The true you will start to shine as you create, change and move forward in your life.

Self-Harm & Distress

Self-harming can be described as a lifeline in rough seas when you feel like you are drowning. It is often a way to cope with emotional pain, numbness, or distress that feels to overwhelming to express in words. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to explore what’s underneath the self-harming - gently at your pace. Whether you’re a young person struggling or a parent worried about your teen, I work with compassion and care to support healing and safer ways to cope.

Chronic Pain

Living in chronic pain can be hell. It's exhausting as the pain is never-ending. You wake up with pain, you go to sleep in pain and then there's the rest of the time in between. Chronic pain can wear you down, and those real negative thoughts start to creep in and get louder and louder. Often, you isolate yourself more and more. Maybe you feel like a burden or a hopeless parent because you feel snappy all the time. Do you feel like you are missing out on your child's life because you are always in bed with the pain?.

Let me teach you neuro-based strategies to help put space between you and the pain. So the hope can start to shine back in.

Emotional Overwhelm and Grief

Maybe your future feels blurry, or a recent friend or family member has died. Maybe it's one event after another, and it's just gotten too much or your relationship is really wobbly as you feel unheard, rejected or stuck in unhealthy patterns. You feel burnt out or your perfectionism is leaving you exhausted and overwhelmed, I'm here to listen and help you find a way forward.

If this sounds like you...

You’re not alone — and you don’t have to keep doing it on your own.

You're here.

The courage it  takes to  take that first step is huge.

Whether you're exploring therapy for yourself or someone you love, I’m glad you’ve landed here.
